This special ability may only be applied to weapons that use charges. When this special ability is applied, the creator chooses acid, cold, electricity, fire, or sonic damage. As long as it is charged or is using charges to make attacks, the weapon deals all of its damage as energy damage of the chosen type and targets touch AC rather than normal AC. If the weapon has the blocking special feature, the shield bonus on AC from blocking also applies to the wielder’s touch AC.
The cost increase of this weapon is equivalent to a +1 bonus for firearms and heavy weapons that deal acid, cold, electricity, or fire damage, +2 bonus for firearms and heavy weapons that deal sonic damage, +3 bonus for other weapons that deal acid, cold, electricity, or fire, and +4 bonus for other weapons that deal sonic damage.

Expanded Energized Weapon Properties
If a weapon has the energized or hybridized special ability and deals damage of certain types, the following additional modifications can be applied to it at no additional cost.
Antibiological: If acid, cold, or sonic damage is chosen with this special ability and applied to a ranged weapon, the creator may choose to have the weapon’s attack operate as antibiological. Antibiological weapons deal no damage to objects, undead, or constructs but deal 1d6 additional damage against living creatures.
EMP: If electricity damage is chosen with this special ability and applied to a ranged weapon, the creator may choose to have the weapon’s attack operate as an EMP. An EMP attack deals no damage to non-cyborg living creatures but deals 1d6 additional damage against robots, androids and creatures with cybernetic implants. A creature that takes damage from a critical hit by an EMP cannon must succeed at a DC 15 Fortitude save or be staggered for 1d4 rounds.
Laser: If electricity, fire, or sonic damage is chosen with this special ability and applied to a ranged weapon, the creator may choose to have the weapon’s attack operate as a laser. A laser attack can pass through force fields and force effects, such as a wall of force, to strike a foe beyond without damaging that field. Objects like glass or other transparent barriers do not provide cover from lasers—but unlike force barriers, a transparent physical barrier still takes damage from a laser passing through it. Invisible creatures are immune to damage caused by a laser weapon. Fog, smoke, and other clouds provide cover in addition to concealment from laser attacks. Darkness (magical or otherwise) has no effect on lasers other than providing concealment, and though a laser consists of highly focused light, it does not provide any illumination. ||
